泰戈?duì)?(1861～1941) 印度著名詩人、作家、藝術(shù)家和社會(huì)活動(dòng)家，生于加爾各答市的一個(gè)富有哲學(xué)和文學(xué)藝術(shù)修養(yǎng)家庭，13歲即能創(chuàng)作長(zhǎng)詩和頌歌體詩集。曾赴英國學(xué)習(xí)文學(xué)和音樂，十余次周游列國，與羅曼·羅蘭、愛因斯坦等大批世界名人多有交往，畢生致力于東西文明的交流和協(xié)調(diào)。泰戈?duì)栆栽娙酥Q，創(chuàng)作了《吉檀迦利》等50多部詩集，被稱為“詩圣”。他又是著名的小說家、劇作家、作曲家和畫家，先后完成12部中長(zhǎng)篇小說，100多篇短篇小說，20多部劇本，1500多幅畫和2000多首歌曲。天才的泰戈?duì)栠�是一位哲學(xué)家、教育家和社會(huì)活動(dòng)家。1913年，泰戈?duì)栆栽姼杓都村壤窐s獲諾貝爾文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)。1915年，陳獨(dú)秀在《青年雜志》(《新青年》)第2期上發(fā)表他譯的《贊歌》4首。作品中“信愛、童心、母愛” 的思想，博大仁慈的胸懷，獨(dú)具魅力的人格，贏得了無數(shù)中國讀者的敬仰。
