一、 單元教學(xué)內(nèi)容
話題：figure
功能：能夠運(yùn)用目標(biāo)語(yǔ)進(jìn)行身體或事物高矮、大小、重輕、長(zhǎng)短進(jìn)行描述和問(wèn)答。
語(yǔ)言結(jié)構(gòu)：
1．句型：How tall are you / is he / she? I’m / He / She is 160 cmtall.
How heavy are you / is he /she? I’m / He / She is40 kg.
How long / How big / How large is … ?
I wear size 16.
He/She is / are taller / heavier / bigger … than…
2、詞匯：taller、stronger、older、younger、shorter、heavier、thinner、longer、bigger、smaller、meter、height、weight、length、size
二、 單元教學(xué)目標(biāo)
a) 知識(shí)目標(biāo)
i. 能聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀A、B部分中的會(huì)話。
ii. 能聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫A、B部分Let’s learn、Let’s talk中的四會(huì)單詞和重點(diǎn)句型。
iii. 能理解Let’s read中的內(nèi)容，并能做相應(yīng)的問(wèn)答。
iv. 能夠運(yùn)用計(jì)量單位：kg 和cm
v. 了解Good to know和story time中的內(nèi)容。
vi. 能夠認(rèn)讀音標(biāo)[ei],[ai],[Ri], 并能拼讀由以上音素組成的音節(jié)和單詞。
b) 能力目標(biāo)
i. 能夠相互問(wèn)答身高、體重、大小、長(zhǎng)短，如How tall are you? I’m …cm tall. How heavy are you? I’m … kg .
ii. 能通過(guò)比較詞進(jìn)行事物或身體的比較或描述，如… is taller than ….
iii. 能聽(tīng)懂會(huì)唱歌曲 《 My Pets 》。
iv. 能根據(jù)所給數(shù)據(jù)，對(duì)兩樣事物進(jìn)行比較。
c) 情感、策略、文化目標(biāo)
i. 培養(yǎng)學(xué)生在觀察和測(cè)量中聯(lián)系英語(yǔ)的習(xí)慣。
ii. 了解計(jì)量單位的完整和縮寫的寫法及換算方法。
三、 單元重難點(diǎn)
a) 本單元的'教學(xué)重點(diǎn)是讓學(xué)生在聯(lián)系日常生活的對(duì)話中運(yùn)用比較級(jí)。
b) 本單元的教學(xué)難點(diǎn)a. 各類比較級(jí)詞匯及相應(yīng)問(wèn)題的掌握。
b. 比較級(jí)不規(guī)則變化和寫法的掌握。

第七課時(shí) ：Part A Let ’ s learn / Let ’ s play / Let ’ s start /Let’s sing
教學(xué)目標(biāo)：
（一）知識(shí)目標(biāo)：
1、使學(xué)生能聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫有關(guān)比較級(jí)的單詞older、younger 、shorter、taller 、stronger。
2、知道than是比較的意思，than前面要用形容詞比較級(jí)(v-er)。
3、了解cm、kg分別表示長(zhǎng)度和重量單位，并知道它們的讀音，會(huì)回答句型：How tall are you? How heavy are you?
（二）能力目標(biāo)：
1、使學(xué)生初步掌握比較級(jí)的用法及句型。
2、使學(xué)生知道形容詞比較級(jí)變化的一般規(guī)律。
3、使學(xué)生能在一定的情境中自覺(jué)運(yùn)用所學(xué)新知識(shí)。
（三）情感目標(biāo)：
培養(yǎng)學(xué)生分析觀察能力，知道要關(guān)愛(ài)身邊的人，愛(ài)父母要從生活中的小事做起。
教具準(zhǔn)備：圖片、卷尺、釣魚桿。
教學(xué)過(guò)程：
Step 1.Warm-up ( revision )
( 1 ) Sing a song.
What’s your favorite season?
( 2 ) Free talk.
a. What’s your favorite season?
Which season is it now?
What’s the weather like in winter?
Which season is always hot and sunny? / warm and rainy?/cool and cloudy?/cold and snowy?
b. Which season can we make a snowman, winter or fall?
Which season can we go swimming in a river, winter or summer?
Which season can we fly kites, winter or spring?
Which season is colder，summer or winter?
Which is colder, water or ice-cream ?
c. I can say ： cold --colder
Can you say? warm---warmer, cool---cooler, hot--- hotter, old ---older.
Step2. Presentation (practice)
older/ younger的教學(xué)
1. How old is the woman? She is 35. 2. How old is the girl? She is 12.
3. Who’s older, the woman or the girl? 4. 35>12, so we can say the woman is older than the girl.（出示圖片）12＜35. We can say the girl is younger than the woman.
5. Now let’s play a game. Guess：How old am I? If your number is more than my age, I will tell you older. If your number is less than my age, I will tell you younger. Let’s see who can guess quickly.
6. How old am I? Guess, guess,guess.
7. It’s my turn now. You should ask me and say older or younger to help me. （出示圖片）
先請(qǐng)學(xué)生猜老師的年齡，假如學(xué)生猜出的年齡比老師的實(shí)際年齡大，老師就說(shuō)older , older, 假如比實(shí)際年齡小，老師就說(shuō)younger , younger。然后由老師猜圖片上小男孩的年齡，全班學(xué)生說(shuō)older, younger來(lái)提示老師是否猜對(duì)。最后，由兩位學(xué)生分別猜中年男人和老奶奶的年齡，全班學(xué)生通過(guò)說(shuō)older, younger 來(lái)提示。

shorter/ taller的教學(xué)
1.Look at the fishing rod, it looks very short. In fact it’s long. Let’s have a look. Oh, it’s too long. It’s difficult for me to take it. Now let’s make it shorter and shorter. Everybody should say shorter ,shorter , shorter. Then I’ll let you see it can be shorter and shorter. （出示釣魚桿）

stronger的教學(xué)
1. You look strong and tall. I can do it. Can you do it? （老師拉著拉力器說(shuō)）
2. Yes, I can .（請(qǐng)兩個(gè)學(xué)生分別做）
3. You look as strong as me. But who is stronger, you or I ? Now, let’s play another game. If you think I’m stronger than her, please come here. If you think she is stronger than me, please go there. Everybody should say stronger , stronger . Ready, go.

5. Which animal is stronger, the tiger or the elephant? （出示圖片）
Is a cat stronger than a mouse?
I can say a bear is stronger than a squirrel. Who can say like me?

Step3. Task time (Consolidation)
1. The new year is coming. We are older than the last year, we are taller than the last year. We are stronger than the last year. Look , 出示表格：

I think every father and every mother can remember their Children’s birthday, height, weight and age clearly. But some of the children often forget these of their parents. So today’s homework:
1. Ask your parents and finish the form. Then say something about your parents.
