Dave: Actually, I'm already working for WebTracker. Vince never wanted to give me what I was worth, so I figured, what the heck.

【make the right move 下對(duì)決定】
move 當(dāng)名詞用是“舉動(dòng)，動(dòng)作”的意思，make the right move 就是指“下對(duì)決定”。
A: You're made the right move by coming here to buy your car.
你到我們這里來(lái)買車，真是明智的決定。
B: I sure hope so.

【figure 的用法】
figure 這個(gè)字是指“料想，估算”，而what the heck 這個(gè)短語(yǔ)是指 “管他的，搞什么”的意思，用做表達(dá)感嘆的語(yǔ)氣，表示覺(jué)得意外或是不在乎。好比你看到很扯的`事，你就可以說(shuō)What the heck? 以表達(dá)“搞什么鬼?”的意思。而So I figured, what the heck 這句話猶如中文里的“我就想說(shuō)，豁出去算了”，或是“我就想，管他的”。使用的時(shí)機(jī)是當(dāng)自己決定孤注一擲，擔(dān)起萬(wàn)一失敗的風(fēng)險(xiǎn)，先做了再說(shuō)。

B: The police never caught me, so I figured, what the heck.
警察都沒(méi)逮到過(guò)我，我就想，管他去死。
1) No way! “不可能!”，“門都沒(méi)有!”用以表示驚訝或是絕無(wú)可能性。
