　　A: Good morning. Phyllis Seymour speaking.

　　B: Hi, Ms. Seymour? It’s Allan Parker. I’ve been waiting to call you and thank you for all your help last week.

　　A: Thank you very much, Mr. Parker. But, that is my job.

　　B: Well, I want to let your boss know that she’d better hold on to you! You’re a hard worker!

　　出色的`工作

　　A：早上好，我是菲莉絲·希莫。

　　B：嗨，希莫女士?我是阿蘭·帕克。我一直想打電話給你感謝你上星期的幫助。

　　A：非常感謝，帕克先生�？赡鞘俏业墓ぷ餮�。

　　B：好哇。我想告訴你的老板她最好別失掉你。你是一個(gè)勤奮的人。

　　抱怨加班：

　　Complaining about overtime

　　A: You won’t believe who’s been elected to do overtime on the Baker account! Me! I’ve already logged in 20 hours of overtime!

　　B: Wow! Why so much? I thought they were getting you an assistant.

　　A: They were supposed to, but so far nobody’s turned up, and I’m left on my own to do the work. This is the first break I’ve had all day.

　　B: They’re really running you into the ground. Why don’t you ask for some time off? You could take a long weekend and go away somewhere.

　　抱怨加班

　　A：你想象不到誰(shuí)被選中加班做貝克項(xiàng)目了。我!我已經(jīng)加了20小時(shí)班了。

　　B：哇!怎么這么長(zhǎng)啊?我以為他們要給你派名助手呢!

　　A：應(yīng)該是�？墒堑侥壳盀橹惯�沒有人來呢，只剩我一人在做這事。這是我一天來頭一次休息。

　　B：他們對(duì)你有點(diǎn)太過分了。你為什么不請(qǐng)幾天假呢?你可以到什么地方度一個(gè)長(zhǎng)周末。
